Technical development

SONNTAG operates a workshop specialising in pipe jacking at the headquarters in Dörth. Our qualified staff maintain our entire range of equipment and develop the machines.

SONNTAG customers benefit from our unusually extensive technical service:

• The pipe-jacking machines are transported back to our workshop in Dörth and thoroughly checked for every use between the target and launch pit. This reduces the risk of machine-related construction site hold-ups.
• We are able to respond immediately when changing geological conditions necessitate the retrofitting of excavation tools on the pipe-jacking machines. This saves valuable construction time.
• We can develop and construct our own pipe-jacking machine for each individual area of application taking economic factors into account. This means optimised costs for the customer.

Since 2007, the drive equipment we operate has carried the CE sign. This means that the machines meet all EU directives concerning the minimum requirements of technical safety, as well as health, environmental and consumer protection.
