SONNTAG voluntarily increases wages, salaries and training allowances until the collective bargaining parties reach an agreement, May 2024
The SONNTAG Group is voluntarily increasing wages and salaries for all wage groups with retroactive effect from 1 May 2024 until the collective bargaining parties reach an agreement. The training allowance will also increase.
Management clearly backs its employees: "We don't want the current wage dispute to be at your expense. We've therefore decided to voluntarily grant you a pay rise in recognition of your outstanding performance and as an expression of our appreciation."
From May 2024, the Group will grant a temporary flat-rate increase in basic pay of EUR 250 gross per month. For trainees, this equates to an increase of EUR 70 gross per month.
This across-the-board increase in remuneration ends with the entry into force of a new collective agreement wage for industrial employees and collective agreement salary for employees' and foremen's salaries and trainees' training allowances. Insofar as the relevant collective agreement comes into force retroactively or provides for payments for the past, the increase and any one-off payments resulting from the relevant collective agreement will be offset retroactively in full against the above voluntary pay increase (the relevant collective agreement ist the collective agreement under which the employment relationship would fall according to its individual scope of application if the collective agreement were binding).
This allows the decisions of the collective bargaining partners to be anticipated without any disadvantages for the employees. The SONNTAG Group thanks its employees for their daily commitment with this temporary solution.
